1 Monitor

This item sets the TX monitor function ON or OFF.
The monitor gain can be set described below.

2 Monitor Level

This item adjusts the transmit IF signal monitor level
See page 87 for details.
3 Beep(Confirmation)
A beep sounds each time a switch is pushed to con-
firm it. This function can be turned OFF for silent op-
eration.
The volume level can be set described below.

4 Beep(Band Edge)

A beep sounds when an operating frequency enters
or exits an amateur band. This functions independent
of the confirmation beep setting (above).
The volume level can be set described below.

5 Beep Level

This item adjusts the volume level for (confirmation
steps. When beep tones are turned OFF, this setting
has no effect.

6 Beep Level Limit

This item allows you to set a maximum volume level
for (confirmation and band edge) beep tones. The
beep tones are linked to the [AF] control until a
specified volume level is reached — further rotation
of the [AF] control will not increase the volume of the
beep tones.
