Accepting a waiting call
You are making an external call and hear the call waiting tone.
With Caller ID (CID):

Without Caller ID, a waiting call is only announced with a signal tone.

An internal waiting call is shown on the display. You can neither accept the
internal call nor reject it.

Rejecting a waiting calll (VoIP)
You can hear the call waiting tone but do not want to speak to the caller.

The waiting caller hears the busy tone.
Please note
You can also press the end call key a to end the current call, and then press the
talk key c again to accept the second call.
CID 2.5 services (fixed line only)
If CID is activated and a waiting call is displayed, 4 different CID 2.5 services (net-
work services) are selected.
During a call:

Take Message
The waiting caller is forwarded to the central office mailbox.
Hold Message
The waiting caller is put on hold and hears a message to this effect from the cen-
tral office.
Call Back
The waiting caller is prompted by the central office to call again at a later time.
Add 2nd
The central office is prompted to initiate a conference call.
