Modifying consistency group options (CT Group Option)

Use the CT Group Option command to modify consistency group options set when you added the
consistency group. When the CT Group Option command is selected, the CT Group Option pane appears.
The CT Group Option pane consists of the same fields as the Add CT Group pane (see
consistency groups (Add CT

To change group options, split all pairs in the group first.

MCU-RCU Path: Selected port type for remote copy connections. You cannot change the port type on
the CT Group Option pane.
Time Out (Copy Pending) (min.): Maximum delay (copy pending timeout) allowed for Continuous
Access XP Async copy (none or from 1 to 15 minutes; none = no timeout for Continuous Access XP
Async copy pending). The default is five minutes. If the delay between the Continuous Access XP Async
P-VOL update and corresponding S-VOL update reaches the specified time, the RCU suspends all
S-VOLs in the group. A timeout occurs when the RCU cannot settle a recordset within the specified time
or has not had any communications from one of the MCUs in the group within the specified time.
