    Chapter 3: Installing the deskphone Avaya B189 Conference IP Phone The Avaya B189 Conference IP Phone product line uses Internet Protocol (IP) technology with Ethernet interfaces. Avaya B189 Conference IP Phone supports DHCP and HTTP/HTTPS over IPv4 including Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) and Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP). Both the protocols enhance deskphone administration and servicing.
