Switch to the Fax mode by pressing the "Copy/Fax/Scan" button.
Place the document on the ADF or the document glass. When you use
the document glass, select the document size by pressing [Doc. Size].
Adjust document resolution and contrast, if necessary.
Press [Speed Dial/Group] once.
Use the numeric keys to enter the
three-digit identifier for the speed-
dial number you want to dial. The
machine shows the name (or fax
number) you have stored:
Press [Start].
Note
Connect an external phone to your machine to make a phone call (See
"Connecting an external phone" on page 3-10.)
Lift the telephone handset.
Press [Speed dial/Group] once.
Use the numeric keys to enter the
three-digit identifier for the speed-
dial number you want to dial. As the
machine dials, it shows the number on the LCD.
Speak to the person that answers.
