Installing the Rollover
Protection System
(ROPS)—TC models only
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 ROPS frame
6 Bolt (1/2 inch)
Procedure
1. Align each side of the ROPS with the mounting holes
in the frame at each side of the vehicle as shown in
Figure 4.
1. ROPS-mounting bracket
2. Secure each side of the ROPS to frame with 3 flanged
bolts (1/2 x 1-1/4 inch), and tighten the bolts to 115
N-m (85 ft-lb).

Checking the Fluid Levels

No Parts Required
Procedure
1. Check the engine-oil level before and after the engine
is first started; refer to Checking the Engine-oil Level
(page 20).
2. Check the transaxle/hydraulic-fluid level before
the engine is first started; refer to Checking the
Transaxle/Hydraulic-fluid Level (page 23).
3. Check the brake-fluid level before the engine is first
started; refer to Checking the Brake-fluid Level (page
25).
