Cargo

WARNING
The vehicle handling, stability and
braking distance are affected when
loading racks and using the vehicle.
Correct loading and weight distri-
bution are therefore important. Nev-
er overload, tow or carry cargo
improperly. Always ensure the car-
go is safely secured and properly
distributed on the rack(s) before op-
erating the vehicle. Safely reduce
speed according to terrain condi-
tions when carrying cargo or pull-
ing a trailer. Allow greater distance
for breaking. Always secure cargo
as low as possible on the rack(s) to
reduce the effect of a higher center
of gravity. Failure to follow the rec-
ommendations here could cause
changes in vehicle handling which
could lead to an accident resulting
in severe injuries including the pos-
sibility of death. For more informa-
tion, see the Safety Handbook .
When cargoing vehicle, respect these
maximum loads.
