Clean the contact area of
the card with a dry cloth.

Possible cause
The card is not
inserted, or it
cannot be
recognized.
There is a problem
with the card.
Writing to the card
is prohibited.
The card is full. No
more pictures can
be taken or no
more information
such as print
reservation can be
recorded.

or new images
cannot be
recorded.
SD Cards cannot
be read or is not
formatted.

Corrective action
Insert a card or insert a
different card.
Insert the card again. If
the problem persists,
format the card. If the card
cannot be formatted, it
cannot be used.
The card has been set to
read-only setting with the
computer.
Reset the card with the
computer.
The SD card write protect
switch is on the LOCK
side. Return the switch to
enable writing.
Replace the card or erase
unwanted pictures.
