Explanation
The battery power is low.
[Alkaline] is selected on the battery type
selection screen.
An abnormal high/low temperature was
detected or an error occurred during charging.
Voltage outside of the allowable limit has been
detected.
Editing or deleting the file is not possible.
The maximum number of Index marks has been
reached (max 32 Index marks per file).
The maximum number of Verbal comments
has been reached (max 32 Verbal comments
per file).
The maximum number of files has been reached
(max 200 files per folder).
An error occurred while erasing.
The built-in memory has a problem.
The card has not been recognized properly.
No remaining memory.
There was an error while formatting the
memory.
The management file cannot be created due to
insufficient space on the card.
Action
Charge or replace the batteries (☞ P.13).
Select [Ni-MH] for the battery type (☞ P.xx).
Charge the batteries in an environment at
normal temperature or eliminate the cause of
the error.
Use the included AC Adapter (☞ P.15).
Unlock the file (☞ P.37).
Erase index marks that are no longer required
(☞ P.34).
Erase unnecessary Verbal comments (☞ P.33).
Erase unnecessary files (☞ P.27).
Erase once again. When an Erase Error occurs,
format the card (☞ P.42).
Format the built-in memory (☞ P.xx).
Remove the card and insert it again (☞ P.17).
Erase unnecessary files or insert another card
(☞ P.17, P.27).
Format the memory again (☞ P.42).
Connect the recorder to a computer and delete
unnecessary files.
