Press the [WRITE] button to rename the Song.
After a confirmation message, the display shows the contents of the
USB memory.
If the USB memory already contains a Song of the name you have
entered, the display informs you to select a different name.

Play List Function

The Play List function allows you to prepare lists of mp3 and/or WAV
audio files you want to play back in succession.

Programming your Play List

Here's how a new Play List can be created and prepared.
The Play List is automatically saved in an optional USB memory. You
don't need to save it.
1.
Insert the optional USB memory that contains the desired
song files into the FR-8x USB port.

Press the [SONG LIST] button
The display shows the contents of the USB memory.

Rotate the [DATA/ENTER] knob to select an audio file.
4.
Press and hold the [SONG LIST] button to jump to the
"EDIT SONG LIST" page.
The display changes to:

Rotate the [DATA/ENTER] knob to select "NEW PLAYLIST"
and push it.
The display shows the following page:
The FR-8x suggests the name "New PlayList".

Use the [DATA/ENTER] knob to enter the desired name.

Press the [WRITE] button to proceed.
You have just created a new Play List, which is still empty and
therefore looks like this:

Press and hold the [SONG LIST] button to jump to the
"EDIT PLAY LIST" page.
The display changes to:

Rotate the [DATA/ENTER] knob to select "ADD SONG" and
push it.
The display shows the contents of the USB memory.
