Before commencing troubleshooting, check the paper transfer course. Make sure there is no foreign
articles on the transfer course, such as staples, paper clips, scraps of paper and so on.
Step
Checking EP CARTRIDGE
1 Install a new EP CARTRIDGE.
Carry out a test printing. Is the print normal?
Checking HVPS/MCU
2 Cover entire ROS ASSY window.
Carry out a test printing. Is the print black?
Checking ROS ASSY
Cover a half of ROS ASSY window.
3 Carry out a test printing.
Is the print half white and half black?
Is the print black?
Print defect
The entire paper is printed jet-black.

- 150 FEEDER ASSY (PL5.1.1)
