1.15.5 Removal of Heat Exchanger

Procedure:
Step
Removing the front grille in
accordance with "Removal
of Front Grille".
Removing the switch box in
accordance with "Removal
of Electrical Box".

Press strongly the claws
on both left and right
sides of heat exchanger
toward inside.

To remove the heat
exchanger, pull it upward.

Be sure to wait 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Procedure

Points
Caution:
If gas leaks, repair the leakage
section, collect refrigerant inside
the unit completely, then,
recharge refrigerant after
performing vacuum dehydration.
Caution:
Don't mix air or the like other than
the specified refrigerant into a
refrigeration circle.
(Mixing of air or other gas causes
abnormal high pressure in the
refrigerating cycle and results in
pipe rupture or personal injuries.)
Pay attention not to soil the
floor with residual drain.
In case that the drain hose is
buried inside wall, remove the
heat exchanger after pulling
out the drain hose.
Caution:
When removing or reinstalling the
heat exchanger, be sure to wear
gloves or wrap the heat
exchanger with cloth or the like.
(Otherwise, the fins may injure
your hand.)
