Setting the Timer

STANDBY/ON
TIME MODE
< Adjust the clock before setting the timer.
< When no action is taken for 1 minute, the timer
setting mode will be cancelled.

Press the TIME MODE button repeatedly until
"On time" is displayed.
"On time" appears on the display, and the "hour"
value blinks.

Press the TUNING/PRESET/TIME buttons to set
the hour value, and press the ENTER button.
The "minute" value blinks.

Press the TUNING/PRESET/TIME buttons to set
the minute value, and press the ENTER button.
"Off time" appears on the display, and the "hour"
value blinks.

"Source select" appears on the display.

Press the TUNING/PRESET/TIME buttons to
select the source, and press the ENTER button.
Now the timer setting is stored in memory.

Timer Operation

Every time you press the TIMER button on the
remote control unit, the timer mode changes as
follows.

Timer daily
Timer REC once
Timer REC daily

Select "Timer daily" by pressing the TIMER
button on the remote control unit.

Prepare for the timer playback.
Adjust the volume, tune in a station, set CD, etc.

Press the STANDBY/ON button to place the
unit in standby.

STANDBY/ON button blinks at 5-second intervals.
Everyday when the On time is reached, the unit will
turn on and start playback, and when the Off time
is reached the unit will return to standby.
