This will ensure that clearance to combustibles is maintained within the cavity.

    OPERATION / MAINTENANCE If heater shuts off, do not relight until you provide fresh air. If heater keeps shutting off, have it serv- iced. Keep burner and control compartment clean. When lit for the first time, the fireplace will emit a slight odour for a few hours.

    MAINTENANCE TURN OFF THE GAS AND ELECTRICAL POWER BEFORE SERVICING THE FIREPLACE. CAUTION: Label all wires prior to disconnection when servicing controls. Wiring errors can cause improper and dangerous operation. Verify proper operation after servic- ing. This heater should be inspected and serviced before use and at least annually by a qualified service person.
