Engineering Mode Menu
Remove the safety key. Then press Speed and Enter keys at the same time and return the
safety key until "ENGINEERING MODE" is displayed, press Enter again. You can now scroll
through the menu using the Up/Down/Fast/Slow keys. Use the Enter key to run. Use the
Stop key to return to previous menu selection. The menu selections are:
a. Key Test (Will allow you to test all the keys to make sure they are functioning)
b. Security (Allows the keypad to be locked to prevent unauthorized use)
c. Functions (Press Enter to access settings)
i. Sleep Mode (Turn on to have the console power down automatically after 20 minutes of inactivity)
ii. Beep (Turns off the speaker so no beeping sound is heard)
iii. Grade Return - Returns the elevation to lowest setting when pause is pressedUnits (Sets the display to
readout in English or Metric display measurements)
iv. Units (Set to English or Metric display readings)
v. Maintenance (Resets odometer reading)
vi. Pause Mode (Turn on allow 5 minutes of pause, turn off to have the console pause indefinitely)
d. Display Test (Tests all the display functions)
Setting Mileage Lock
1. Remove the safety key, press and hold numeric keys 1, 2, 3 at the same time then return the safety
key to enter setting function.
2. Message Window will display "LOCK SETTING = ON/OFF".
3. Press Fast/Slow/Up/Down keys to set On or Off then press Enter.
4. If Off is set, it returns to idle mode. If On is set, it enters code setting procedure.
5. Now Message Window will display "PASSWORD = ****". Use numeric keys in order to set a 4-digit
security code. Press Enter when complete.
6. Enter the code again to confirm. Press Enter when complete.
7. Now Message Window will show "MILEAGE = XXX Km". Use Fast/Slow/Up/Down keys to set
the required mileage. Press Enter when complete. Now the Message Window window will show
"LOCK SETTING OK" and return to Idle Mode.
8. 8) To unlock, press and hold numeric keys 1, 2, 3 at the same time to enter unlocking function.
