    You must use both left and right stainless steel sensors to pick up your pulse. Pulse values are displayed anytime the computer is receiving a pulse grip signal. You may use the Pulse grip feature at anytime. The CT850 will also pick up wireless heart rate transmitters, including coded transmissions.

    With all Spirit Fitness Heart Rate programs treadmills you may use the heart rate monitor feature without using the Heart Rate program. This function can be used during manual mode or during any of the nine different programs.
