Fuel Economy Gage

The gage shows the fuel usage that
the vehicle is currently achieving in
1
liters per 100 kilometers (
/100 km).
20: Is the minimum fuel economy.
This least efficient fuel economy
usually occurs during quick
accelerations or when idling.
1
/100: Is the maximum fuel economy.
The best fuel economy usually
occurs during coasting.
This gage moves often as it is an
instantaneous calculation based on
current driving conditions.
Engine Coolant
Temperature Gage
This gage measures the temperature
of the vehicle's engine.
If the indicator needle moves into the
shaded area, the engine may be too
hot. A temperature indicator light will
turn on.
Under some driving conditions,
including those listed below, it is
normal for the temperature to rise
above the usual operating range
and approach the far end of the
gage:
stop and go driving in heavy
traffic
high speed operation in warm
weather
uphill driving
trailer towing or hauling a heavy
load
You may see the reading fluctuate.
This is normal.
if the indicator needle reaches the
shaded warning area at the far end
of the gage and remains there for
more than 30 seconds, the engine
coolant has overheated.
If the engine coolant has
overheated, pull over and stop the
vehicle as soon as it is safe to do so.
Then, turn the engine off
immediately.
If the vehicle has been operating
under normal driving conditions, and
the temperature indicator light comes
on, pull off the road, stop the vehicle
and turn off the engine as soon as
possible.
