Verify operation of buttons by using
Button Test" flowchart

No
Verify physical connection between the side
controls flex, Front kit flex, keypad and
Main Board.. Re-run button test.
Button check
OK?
No
Use a voltmeter to measure voltage at the
following resistors on the Main board
(1.875V @ each point):
R4005 - PTT, R4006 - Side button 1,
R4007 - Side button 2, R6101 - Monitor
Are the
voltages
present?
Yes
Monitor thr voltages at each resistor while
pressing the corresponding button. The
voltages 0V while the button is pressed.
Voltages = 0 while
button press?
No
Replace main
chassis
Yes
Verify buttons
enabled in CPS
Yes
