CRANKCASE/CRANKSHAFT
Remove the oil pipe and O-rings.
Remove the oil pipe and O-rings from the left crank­
case.

CRANKSHAFT/CONNECTING ROD

NOTE:
• During crankshaft and connecting rod service, be
careful not to damage the main journal or crank
pin bearing inserts.
• Mark and store the connecting rods, bearing
caps and bearing inserts to be sure of their cor­
rect locations for reassembly.

CRANKSHAFT REMOVAL

Separate the crankcase (page 13-5).
Remove the crankshaft/connecting rod from the
right crankcase.
