• A lw ays replace the retainer o f the quick connect
fittin g w hen the fuel feed hose is disconnected.
• If any dam age o r cut-out on the rubber cap,
replace it w ith a new one.
• Do not bent or tw is t fuel feed hose.
• If any retainer needs replacing, use th e same
m anufacturer's
rem oved (The various m anufactures feature d if­
ferent retainer specification).
1. Insert a new retainer into the connector aligning
the retainer locking pawls w ith the connector
holes.
2. Set the rubber cap on jo in t pipe as shown.
Press the quick connect fin in g o n to the pipe until
both retainer pawls lock w ith a "CLICK".
If it is hard to connect, put a sm all am ou nt o f
engine oil on the pipe end.
