Removing and Replacing the Speaker Assembly

To remove the speaker assembly
1.
Follow the procedures to remove the:
Battery door
Battery
SIM card
front housing
rear housing
2.
Using a Torx driver with a T-6 bit, remove the 2 screws securing the speaker
assembly to the transceiver board.
3.
Lift the assembly off of the transceiver board.)

To replace the speaker assembly
1.
Align the speaker assembly with the transceiver board and press it into place.
2.
Insert and tighten the 2screws to a torque setting of 1.2 in/lbs, using the T-6
Torx driver. Do not overtighten.
3.
Follow the procedures to replace the:
rear housing
front housing
SIM card
battery
battery door
