Handle
DC power light
To install an additional power supply:
1.
Review the information in "Before you begin" on page 7 through "Handling
static-sensitive devices" on page 8.
2.
Remove the filler panel.
3.
Place the handle on the power supply in the open position.
4.
Slide the power supply into the chassis and press the handle to the closed
position.
5.
Plug one end of the power cord into the corresponding outlet on the rear of the
server; then, plug the other end of the power cord into a properly grounded
electrical outlet.
6.
Verify that the DC Power light and the AC Power light on the power supply are
lit, indicating that the power supply is operating properly.
Statement 6
CAUTION:
If you install a strain-relief bracket option over the end of the power cord that is connected
to the device, you must connect the other end of the power cord to an easily accessible
power source.
