4. Remove the carbon deposits
on the muffler screen and the
spark arrester using a wire
brush.
NOTICE
When cleaning, use the wire

brush lightly to avoid damaging
or scratching of the muffler
screen and spark arrester.
5. Check the muffler screen and
the spark arrester.
Replace them if damaged.
6. Install the spark arrester.
TIP
Align the spark arrester lump 1 to
the hole 2 in the muffler pipe.

7. Install the muffler screen and
the muffler cap then tighten
the bolt.
8. Install the rear cover and
tighten the screws.

ne de la grille du silencieux et
du pare-étincelles à l'aide
d'une brosse métallique.
Lors du nettoyage, utilisez la
brosse métallique avec précau-
tion pour éviter d'endommager
ou d'érafler la grille du silen-
cieux et le pare-étincelles.
5. Vérifiez la grille du silencieux
et le pare-étincelles.
Remplacez-les si endommagés.
6. Installez le pare-étincelles.
N.B.
Alignez la saillie du pare-étincelles
1 sur l'orifice 2 du tuyau de
silencieux.
7. Installez la grille du silencieux
et le bouchon du silencieux, et
serrez ensuite le boulon.
8. Installez le couvercle arrière et
serrez les vis.
