Belt Replacement
Auger Belt
To remove and replace your snow thrower's auger belt, proceed
a s f o l l o w s :
1 . A l l o w t h e e n g i n e t o r u n u n t i l i t i s o u t o f f u e l .
2.
Remove the plastic belt cover on the front of the engine by
removing the two self-tapping screws. See Fig. B-1.

Carefully pivot the snow thrower up and forward so that it
r e s t s o n t h e a u g e r h o u s i n g .
Remove the frame cover from the underside of the snow
thrower by removing four self-tapping screws which secure
it. 5ee Fig B-3.

Remove the belt as follows. See Fig. B 4.

L o o s e n a n d r e m o v e t h e s h o u l d e r s c r e w w h i c h a c t s
as a belt keeper.

Unhook the support bracket spring from the frame
