NTRODUCTION
Now that you know what your Standard Display or Basic Digital Phone can do, it's
time to start using it. In this section, you'll learn how to make and receive calls, trans-
fer calls, retrieve voice mail messages, and much more.

NITIALIZING OUR
The first thing you should do is initialize your mailbox. This allows you to:

Change the default password number to a personal password.
•
Record a name to identify yourself in the company directory.
•
Listen to the voice mail introduction.
To initialize your mailbox:
Dial the voice mail extension number. (You hear the main menu.)

If you want a password, enter a new password using digits 0-9 (up to 12 digits).
