contains projects, even though ALL PROJS & LIBS is selected as the restore type, if it
can't find any libraries, it will just continue, restoring only the projects.
You can also select ENTIRE BACKUP as the restore type and this will restore everything in
the selected backup.
You may also select to restore only libraries by selecting ALL LIBRARIES. In this case,
even if a backup contains projects, these will be ignored. Likewise, if you select ALL
PROJECTS, only projects found will be restored and any libraries in the backup will be
ignored.
You may also specifically select the files you want to restore by selecting SELECTED
FILES. To actually select the files for restore, press SELECT FILES (F3/4). First, you will
see this screen:
The DD1500 needs to read the directory on the tape to know what files are contained in it.
Press EXECUTE to proceed (or EXIT to cancel). You will see this screen:
Depending on the complexity of the backup, after a short while, you will be taken to
something like this screen:
Here, you may select the files in the backup you wish to restore (if you have used
SELECTED FILES as the backup type, you will already be familiar with this and operation
is the same). Move the cursor to the file you wish to restore and press the DATA + key. A
small block will appear alongside the filename to indicate that it has been selected:
The number of files selected for restore will be shown. Continue to mark the files you wish
to select in this way. Press EXIT to return to the main SCSI RESTORE page.
