3. Turn on the PDT 7200 terminal and slide it into the cradle.
4. Using the Control Panel, as described in
equivalent application, set the Communications Settings to COM6Cradle.
5. Using the Launcher, as described in
application, initiate "PC Link" to connect to the host.
Performing ActiveSync using the Optional Serial
Cable
Note: You must perform your first ActiveSync operation with a local, direct
connection, rather than using a modem.
If a Serial Cable Connector is installed, connect the cable directly to
the terminal. Otherwise, connect the cable to the cradle. Refer to
Performing ActiveSync using the Cradle
To perform an ActiveSync operation for the first time using the serial cable:
1. After installing the Windows
computer.
