SPARK PLUG

Inspect every 6 000 km (4 000 miles, 6 months) and

replace every 12 000 km (7 500 miles, 12 months).

SPARK PLUG AND IGNITION COIL/PLUG CAP REMOVAL

• Remove the front and rear seat. ( 6-8)

• Lift and support the fuel tank. ( 4-51)

• Remove the air cleaner box 1. ( 4-61)

• Disconnect all of the lead wire couplers from each ignition coil/

Do not remove the ignition coil/plug cap before discon-

necting its lead wire coupler.

• Remove all of the ignition coils/plug caps.

* Do not pry up the ignition coil/plug cap with a driver or

a bar to avoid its damage.

* Be careful not to drop the ignition coil/plug cap to pre-

vent the short or open the circuit of its.

• Remove the spark plugs with a spark plug wrench.
