Troubleshooting

No Power

■ Led indicators
Are the LAMP indicator (red) and POWER indicator (green) light?
If the LAMP and POWER indicators are not light, check the primary circuit and
S6V of standby power supply circuit.
■ Fuses
Are the fuse (F601, F60, F603) on the AC Filter board blown?
Fuse may be opened when both LAMP indicator and POWER indicator does
not light. Check the fuses.
For safety, replace it with a new fuse of the same type.
Fuse F601 is for PFC-1 (Lamp1 and Lamp) circuit.
Fuse F60 is for Main supply circuit.
Fuse F603 is for PFC- (Lamp3 and Lamp4) circuit.
■ temperature Switches
When the internal temperature near the lamps reaches near 90ºC, the tempera-
ture switches are open and 1V is not supplied to PFC board.
SW903 - SW904 for Lamp 1 and  -- open : Abnormality
SW905 - SW906 for Lamp 3 and 4 -- open : Abnormality
The projector will turn into the standby mode.
■ Power failure
When the power failure occurs on any of the secondary power supplies, the pro-
jector will turn into the standby mode automatically to protect itself.
P.FAIL
L : Abnormality
■ Fan failure
When the fan failure occurs on any of the fans, the projector will turn into the
standby mode automatically to protect itself.
FAN LOCK
L : Abnormality
