you're new to computers or have never used a notebook computer

Connect to a Power Source

Your computer requires power to operate. By connecting the com-
puter to a power source you can provide power to run the com-
puter and charge the battery. With the computer's built-in power
supply, providing power to your computer requires only a power
cable. Just plug the cable into the computer and a live power
outlet.
