Loosen the bolts fixing the belt tensioner
bearing, release the belt and remove it
from the vehicle.
Disconnect the electrical connections,
then undo the lower bolt fixing the alter­
nator.
Position the hydraulic jack below the en­
gine support as illustrated in the diagram.
Undo the bolts fixing the engine support
to the bodyshell.
Lower the hydraulic jack to allow the re­
moval of the alternator.
