Using the Cradle

Charging the Terminal's Battery

The Li-Ion battery is automatically recharged whenever the terminal is properly inserted in
the cradle. The terminal may be on or off.
Note: If the PDT 7200 battery pack is fully discharged and untouched for
approximately one week (depending on temperature), the battery
pack must be re-initialized. Place the battery pack in the terminal and
place the terminal in the cradle to re-initialize the battery pack.
To insert the terminal in the cradle, engage the terminal's scan bumper on the cradle rest, then
gently rotate the terminal into the cradle. Make sure the scan bumper is supported by the
cradle rest, as shown in

The terminal charge LED
battery begins to charge. The terminal must be left in the cradle 2 hours to recharge a fully
discharged battery pack. Once charging is complete, the terminal charge LED turns green. If
