Using Windows XP Security Center

To update Norton AntiVirus:
Make sure that you are connected to the Internet.

Click Start, All Programs, Norton AntiVirus, then click LiveUpdate. The

LiveUpdate wizard opens.
Follow the on-screen instructions to update your Norton AntiVirus

program with the latest virus protection files.
When the program has finished, click Finish.

Windows Security Center helps protect your computer through:
a firewall

automatic Windows updates
■
third party virus protection software
■
security options in Internet Explorer
■
Modifying security settings
To modify security settings:
Click Start, Control Panel, then double-click Security Center. The

Windows Security Center dialog box opens.
Click Internet Options or Windows Firewall.
