Checking Jumper Settings

The following illustration shows the location of the mainboard jumpers. Pin 1 is
labeled.

JP1 3-pin Clear CMOS
JP6 3-pin SATA HDD
FID JP1 10-pin CPU ratio selector
Jumper 1 – This jumper is use to clear all the current data stored in the
CMOS memory. Refer to the following instructions:

1-2: Normal
2-3: Clear CMOS
1-2: Enable
2-3: Disable
Refer to the table on the next page.
Turn the system off.
Short pins 2 and 3 on jumper 1.
Return the jumper to the normal setting.
Turn the system on. The BIOS is returned to
the default settings.
