If you enter wrong lock numbers/passwords 10 or 20 times in a
row when decrypting the storage, you cannot enter the lock
number/password for 30 seconds. Note that if you enter wrong
lock numbers/passwords 30 times in a row, the handset is
initialized.
If you have carried out Encrypt phone, you cannot exchange
data while USB connection is made with a PC.
Language & input
You can make settings for the language displayed on the
screen, character entry, text-to-speech, etc.

In the home screen, display the Apps
[Settings]/[Language & input]

Select an item
Current selected keyboard: Set the input software to use
when entering characters.
Google Keyboard: Make settings for Google Keyboard.
iWnn IME - SH edition: Make settings for iWnn IME - SH
edition. For details on each item that can be set
nP. 20 "Setting character entry"
Google voice typing: Set whether to use Google voice typing.
Moji-Henshu: Set whether to use Moji-Henshu.
Select language: Select Japanese/English.
Voice input settings: Make settings for the voice input.
Text-to-speech output: Make settings for the voice for
reading the characters displayed on the handset.
Spell checker: Set whether to use Spell checker.
Personal dictionary: Register any words into Personal
dictionary and display them as conversion candidates when
you enter characters with Google Keyboard.
Pointer speed: Set the speed of the pointer.
Character code setting: Set a character code to use when
sending data from an app.
: Touch [B] to set the details of each item.
Text-to-speech is enabled by downloading voice data,
accessibility option, etc.
Keyboard
When you enter Japanese, use iWnn IME - SH edition.
[Spell checker]
Japanese is not supported.
Backup & reset
You can back up data using a Google account, transfer data to/
from among devices, perform Reset all, etc.

Back up my data: Set whether to automatically back up app
data, Wi-Fi passwords, etc. using a Google account.
Backup account: Set a Google account to use when backing
up data.
Automatic restore: Set whether to restore backed up data,
settings, etc. of an app when you re-install the app.

Data transfer

You can import data or back up/restore data on the handset
using a microSD Card. In addition, you can import phonebook
data on other devices using the Bluetooth function.
The following data can be backed up to/restored from a microSD
Card.

While you are backing up data to a microSD Card, [Airplane
mode] is enabled.
When the available space on the handset memory is less than 11
MB, you cannot back up data to a microSD Card.
Insert a microSD Card in advance when using one.

You cannot restore the data when the battery level is
insufficient.
Note that, when you restore User/Learning dictionary (iWnn
IME - SH edition) data, User/Learning dictionary (iWnn IME -
SH edition) data saved on the handset memory is deleted even
if you select [Add registration].
