"Data broadcasting" information is carried by broadcast wave
together with image and audio. "Data broadcasting website"
information is used to access and display websites provided by TV
broadcasters (broadcast stations) etc. from the information on data
broadcasting.
Packet communication charges are incurred when accessing a
website such as a "data broadcasting website".
Some websites require information charges to use.
Precautions about Full-Seg
The handset adopts "The Software Based RMP System" to
protect the copyrights of terrestrial digital TV broadcasting
content. Therefore, a B-CAS card etc. is not necessary.
Full-Seg programs recorded by the handset cannot be played on
other devices.
For inquiries about "The Software Based RMP System", contact
the RMP Administration Center for Terrestrial Broadcasting
Content.

Precautions about using Full-Seg data broadcasting
Note that DOCOMO shall not be liable for damages and
disadvantages incurred on the users due to partial or complete
changes/losses of information such as personal information and
points recorded on the handset by an interactive communication
etc. of data broadcasting.
Accumulated data from data broadcasting may not be transferred
in another area even when the data is from data broadcasting of
a same program.
Full-Seg data broadcasting can only be operated by the remote
controller or gesture operations.
Broadcast wave and service area

The radio wave received via Mobacas/Full-Seg/1Seg differs from
that received via Xi services and FOMA services. Also, the radio
waves received via Mobacas, Full-Seg and 1Seg differ from one
another. Therefore, it cannot be received at a place where the
broadcast wave for Mobacas/Full-Seg/1Seg does not reach or
while the broadcasting is out of service, regardless of whether the
handset is outside or inside the Xi service or FOMA service area.
Also, in the following places, the reception status may become
weak or the signal may not be received even if the handset is inside
the area of a Mobacas broadcasting/terrestrial digital TV
broadcasting service.
Place that is far from the base station/radio tower which sends
the signal
Place where the signal is interrupted due to the landscape or
buildings such as mountainous areas or behind a building
Place where the signal is weak or does not reach, such as a
tunnel, basement or an inner area of a building

When you use (watch/record/receive in Shift Time) Mobacas or use
(watch/record) TV, connect included TV/Mobacas antenna cable
SH01 to the earphone/microphone terminal of the handset.
Using an earphone/microphone
If you want to use an earphone/microphone while using TV/
Mobacas antenna cable, connect the handset and a commercially
available earphone/microphone with the TV/Mobacas antenna
cable.

Improving reception status

Change the direction of the TV/Mobacas antenna cable, keep the
handset apart from your body or move to another place so that the
reception status may become better.
