Do not use with the car engine shut off. May drain the car
battery.
The DC adapter fuse is a consumable product. For
replacement, purchase a new fuse at a nearest auto parts
retailer etc.
Refer to the user's guide of DC Adapter 03/04 for details.

Charging with Micro USB Cable 01

You can charge the handset by connecting the handset to a PC
with Micro USB Cable 01 (sold separately).
For details on connecting to a PC nP. 84 "Connecting the
handset and PC"

Turning power on/off

Turning power on

: When you turn the power on for the first time, make the initial
settings (nP. 22 "Initial settings").
Precautions about inserting and removing a microSD Card are
displayed every time the handset power is turned on.
Turning power off

Turning power off forcibly
■
You can forcibly turn the power off if the screen does not respond or
the power cannot be turned off.

: Release your finger after the vibrator is activated to turn the
power off.
Turning display on/off
■
The display is turned off when H is pressed or the handset is not
in use for a set length of time.
Press H while the display is turned off to turn it on.
If [When display turns on] of EDGEST Effect is enabled and the
display is turned on, EDGEST Effect is activated and a
silhouette of a Disney mascot may appear. Touch it to play a
special animation.

Operations on Welcome Sheet (Lock Screen)
When the power or the display is turned on, the Welcome
Sheet (Lock Screen) is displayed and the touch panel is
locked.
1 Wallpaper
If [Welcome Sheet wallpaper] is set to [Image] and you have
registered multiple still pictures, you can switch wallpapers by
flicking them to the left/right.
･ You can register up to five still pictures in [Welcome Sheet
wallpaper].
2 Unlock/Display shortcuts
Slide [I] down to unlock. Also, you can display shortcuts etc.
by touching [I].
3 Owner's information
Touch [M] after making settings for [Owner info] of Lock &
Security to display the owner's information.
4 Info Area
Flick to the left/right to switch among widget, date and time,
etc. Also, you can add a widget to display by touching [+]
while [Add Widget] is displayed. Touch and hold a widget to
move or delete it.
If you set エモパー(Japanese only) (emopa (Japanese only))
to [ON], various information delivered by emopa is displayed.
You can display related websites by sliding a piece of
information up while you can make settings for emopa by
sliding one down (nP. 71 "emopa").
Welcome Sheet settings

You can set wallpapers, shortcuts, Info Area, etc. to display in the
Welcome Sheet (Lock Screen).

Sheet (Lock Screen).
Display names of new
the other party's name when a notification on a missed call
etc. arrives.
Operations on Welcome Sheet (Lock Screen)

To set/disable the manner mode: y (for at least 2 seconds)
To turn on/off the mobile light: x (for at least 2 seconds)
The status panel can be displayed without disabling the lock
when Screen lock is set to [Slide or Touch].
Mobile light
The mobile light may be automatically turned off if you use the
handset for a long time or the handset becomes warm after the
mobile light is turned on. Also, you may not be able to use the
mobile light if the handset is warm.
Adding widgets
Enable [Enable widgets] in advance (nP. 73 "Lock &
security").
Unlock the touch panel after you touch [+] when Screen lock is
set to an item other than [Slide or Touch].
