7) Unplug the generator wire harness (Figure e).

8) Slide the generator towards the front of the unit and out of the frame (Figure F).

9) reverse Steps 1-8 to install a new generator. NOTE: when installing the new generator, be sure to tighten the small eye hook nuts on the
generator so that the generator belt can be turned a maximum of 90 degrees (See Section 7.11 Figure F).
10) test the bike for function as outlined in Section 7.23.
