1-10 Installing the GC-M2-U2-MiniSAS Step 1: Use a screw driver to unfasten the screw and nut from the motherboard. Locate the proper mounting hole for the GC-M2-U2-MiniSAS and screw the nut first. Then slide it into the connector at an angle. Step 2: Press the GC-M2-U2-MiniSAS down and then secure it with the screw. Step 3: Remove the protective cover from the SAS connector on the GC-M2- U2-MiniSAS and connect one end of the SSD cable to the connector.

B. Configuring SATA controller mode in BIOS Setup Make sure to configure the SATA controller mode correctly in system BIOS Setup. Step 1: Turn on your computer and press <Delete> to enter BIOS Setup during the POST (Power-On Self-Test). Go to Peripherals\SATA Configuration, make sure SATA Controller(s) is enabled. B. Rebuilding an Array Rebuilding is the process of restoring data to a hard drive from other drives in the array.
