CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Water is usually hard in some places, with high contents of calcium and magnesium ions. The-
refore, when the humidifiers are put into use, some calcium magnesium ions will be atomized
along with the water mist and dispersed on some body surfaces and ground surface, forming
thermonatrite like white powder after drying, some ions will deposit on the surfaces of transdu-
cer and water tank and form incrustation, all these are caused by impurity of water, incrustation
on the transducer's surface will influence the humidification effect.
Here are some suggestions for you:
•
Use purified water for humidification.
•
Clean the transducer, water tank and base every week.
•
Renew water in the water tank frequently to keep it clean.
•
Do not leave the water in the tank or basin during a long idle time.
•
Clean, mop up or dry all parts of the machine by airing and then put them into the original
packing box for storage.
CLEANING METHOD
How to clean the transducer:
•
Put 5-10 drops of cleaning agents (varies with the extent of incrustation formation) on the sur-
face of transducer and wait for 2-5 minutes;
•
Gently clean the surface of transducer with a soft brush incrustation is removed;
•
Rinse the surface of transducer with clean water.
How to clean the basin:
•
Clean the water basin with soft cloth by dipping in cleaning agents in case there exists
incrustation inside the water basin;
•
If there exists incrustation on the water level protection switch, put several drops of cleaning
agents on it and clean with soft brush;
•
Rinse the water basin with clean water.
