Charging the switched-off robot vacuum cleaner

To charge the switched-off robot vacuum cleaner, for instance before
first use or when the battery is completely empty after a long period
of nonuse, place the robot vacuum cleaner on the plugged-in base
station.
Note: Make sure the charging terminals on the bottom of the robot vacuum
cleaner are in contact with the charging terminals on the base station.

The charging light on the base station starts to flash green when the
robot vacuum cleaner is positioned correctly on the base station.

When the battery is fully charged, the charging light on the base
station lights up green continuously.
Note: You can also charge the appliance by following the instructions in
'Charging by connecting the robot vacuum cleaner to the mains' below.
automatic charging during use
Automatic charging after use and when the battery runs low during use
works in all modes, except in the spot cleaning mode.

When the robot vacuum cleaner has finished cleaning or when only
15% of the battery capacity is left, it automatically returns to the
base station to be recharged.
Note: The robot vacuum cleaner only returns to the base station
automatically when it started cleaning from the base station.
The text 'bASE' appears on the display when the robot vacuum
,
cleaner starts to return to the base station.
Note: When you want to recharge the robot vacuum cleaner when it is
cleaning, you can also press the base button on the remote control to make
the robot vacuum cleaner return to the base station to charge (see step 2 in
section 'Using the direction selector, the base button or the turbo button on the
remote control').
