only when "SB Decoding" is set to "ON" or
"AUTO" and the input stream contains the
Dolby Digital Surround EX nag.

Malrix decoding conforming to Dolhy Digital EX is
applied if the speaker selling is 6.1 channel system
and movie decoding conforming to Pro Logic IIx is
applied if the speaker selling is 7.1 channel system,
when you select Dolby PLllx MS under the
following conditions:
- a Dolhy Digital Surround EX signal is input
- "SR Decoding" is set to "AUTO"

Surround back decoding is not performed.
Notes
• This function does nol work in Ihe following cases.
- The Illulti-channel input is selected.
- The sound field for music or movies is selected.
·If surround hack decoding processing is heing
performed while the receiver is receiving signals
wilh a sampling frequency of more than 48 kHz,
Ihe signals will always be played back at eilher
44.1 kHz or 48 kHz.
• If surround back decoding processing is heing
performed while the receiver is receiving DTS 96/
24 signals, the signals will always he played hack
at48 kHz.
• There Illay he no sound from the surround hack
speaker in Dolhy Digital EX mode. Some discs
have no Dolby Digital Surround EX flag even
