Notes on the suitability of documents:
Allow ink andlor glue dry completely before inserting a document.
Do not transmit curled or folded documents.
Make sure that any paper clips, staples or pins have been removed from documents.
When using carbon paper, waxed paper or vinyl-coated paper, always use a carrier sheet.
Never use documents thicker than 0.006" (0.15mm), metal sheets or cloth. Use a photocopy instead.
1) Transmission Mechanism
.
When, in Fig. 4-1, the document is inserted, the sensor 1 detects the document and the transmission motor starts to
rotate. The ADF roller is rotated by the rotation of the transmission motor and the document is fed up to the platen roller
and is stopped. When the START or COPY button is pressed here, the transmission motor rotates again and the
document is fed forward.
2) As shown in Fig. 4-2, the recording paper is pressed by the platen roller and the thermal head. The platen roller is
rotated by the reception motor and feeds the recording paper forward. When the recording is finished, a broken line is
printed where the recording paper should be cut
There are two sensors for the recording paper, one is for detecting the recording paper itself and the other is for
detecting the recording paper ending.
When the black end-mark on the recording paper is detected by its sensor while receiving or copying is performed,
"PAPIER PRUEFEN" is indicated on the LCD after completing the printing of its page.
