Select SOIL LEVEL
Select the soil level setting most suitable for your load.

Select TEMPERATURE
Once you select a cycle, select the desired wash temperature
by turning the WASH TEMP knob to the appropriate setting
based on your load. All rinses are tap cold.
NOTE: Always read and follow fabric care label instructions
to avoid damage to your garments.
Wash Temp
Hot
Some cold water is added to save
energy. This will be cooler than
your hot water heater setting.
Warm
Some cold water will be added, so
this will be cooler than what your
previous washer provided.
Cool
Some warm water may be added
to assist in soil removal and to
help dissolve detergents.
Cold
A small amount of warm water
may be added to assist in soil
removal and to help dissolve
detergents. Water will be colder
than "Cool" setting.
Tap Cold
This is the temperature from
your faucet.

Durable garments
Heavy soils
Bright colors
Moderate to light soils
Colors that bleed
or fade

Select Deep Water Wash option
(on 27" models)
On some models, set DEEP WATER WASH to ON for bulky
loads such as sheets or bedding.

Pull out Cycle knob to begin

Close the washer lid and pull out the Cycle knob to start
the washer.
NOTE: Some washers will only fill with the lid in the closed
position.
To add a garment after washer starts:
• Push in the Cycle knob to stop the washer.
• Open the lid and add the item(s).
• Close the lid and pull the Cycle knob out to resume the
cycle. Do not leave the lid open unattended once the
washer has started filling.
• For best performance, do not interrupt washer cycle
once the washer has been started.
