Read Character from Auxiliary Device

channel are checked for a pending input.
The first device found
is
then
read,
and the character
is
stored in registers A and L,
No transforma-
tion will occur,
i.e.
the 8-bit character
is
returned as read from the
device.
The driver waits until there
is
at least one device ready for input.
