address
specified
by register pair DE denotes the
begin
of
the
memory
buffer
for
all future disk I/0.
The DMA buffer
is
used
for
buffering information with a number of other functions, too, Contrary to
CP/M plus, passwords are ignored, as EOS does not support passwords.
Beyond disk I/0 functions,
the following functions make use of the
DMA
buffer for information transfer:
