Printing a Stored Job
Notes:
Secure Print requires the Productivity Kit to be installed in the printer. For information on your
printer configuration and available optional features, see
page 21.
The RAM Disk feature of the printer must also be enabled for you to use Secure Print. For
information on enabling this option, see
Secure Print enables you to store a document in the printer, then print it from the printer control panel.
When you send the Secure Print document to the printer, you assign a password for printing the
document. To retrieve the print job, enter the same password at the control panel of the printer. You
can use this feature to send confidential documents to the printer and print them when you are at the
printer.
You can also store documents in the printer without assigning a password. By storing frequently used
documents in the printer, you can print them on demand from the printer without sending the print job
from the computer repeatedly.
Setting Up a Secure Print Job

menu, select Print.
2. Select your Phaser 6500 printer (PostScript or PCL print driver) and then click the Properties
button.
