step 3: instAlling the top Wing
❑ Double-check the alignment of the wings. When viewed from the front, all three wings should be level with each other. Check
the stabilizer, too. It should be level with the wings. If it's not, loosen the mounting screws and install a thin shim under the low side
and retighten the screws. Next, check the wings from the top. They should all be parallel with each other and straight.

IMPORTANT Before installing the two outer wing struts in the
next procedure, make sure that you install them so that they are angled
backward toward the trailing edge and that mounting tab with the
"ASCENDING" label is glued into the top wing.
❑ Cut away the covering material from over the outer wing strut mounting
slots in the bottom of the wing, then fit and glue the two outer wing struts
into the mounting slots.
❑ Set the wing onto the fuselage and push the mounting tab in the outer
wing struts into the wing strut mounting slots in the center wing.
IMPORTANT As with the two lower outer wing struts, don't glue the
upper outer wing struts to the center wing or it will be impossible to
remove the wing if you need to. The outer wing struts fit into the center
wing without using glue.
❑ Secure the cabane struts to the front mounting brackets, using two
M2 x 6mm machine screws and two M2 hex nuts.
IMPORTANT Mount the cabane struts to the outside of the mounting
brackets.
❑ Secure the cabane struts to the rear mounting brackets, using two
M2 x 6mm machine screws and two M2 hex nuts.
IMPORTANT Mount the cabane struts to the outside of the mounting
brackets.
