Outdoor combustion air must be piped to the air intake. Never pipe combustion air from areas containing
contaminates such as swimming pools and laundry room exhaust vents. Contaminated combustion air will
damage the boiler and may cause property damage, personal injury or loss of life.
Air for combustion must always be obtained directly from outdoors. See Section VII for intake piping. Adequate air
for ventilation will be present if the clearances specified in this manual are maintained. If this boiler is installed in a room
with other appliances, provide adequate air for combustion and/or ventilation air in accordance with the manufacturer's
installation manual or applicable code.
