Adjusting Toe Kick Height
The height of the toe panel cover can be adjusted +/- 1-
1/8" for aligning with your cabinet space. You can also
adjust the overall height from 33-7/8" to 35" to better
align with your cabinet spacing. See explanation on page5
for overall height adjustment.
Extension Piece

Refer to the pictograms printed on the template for
proper method of mounting your custom door. If you
have been following this instruction manual you have
already completed the actions depicted in Pictograms 1
and 2 on the template. Then proceed with Pictogram 3:
Pictogram 3 on template
If you will be using the extension piece to match the
horizontal drawer line, place door template on door of
dishwasher, being sure that correct side of template is
facing out,–– one side of the template is for black and
white models and the other side of the template is for
stainless steel models. Then, with template slid up to
point where it is butting against the bottom of the
control panel (be sure to slide the template behind the
extension piece), mark the template to show the height
of the cabinet door as shown in Pictogram 3.

After marking the cabinet door height remove
the template and tape it to the back of your cus-
tom door, being sure that the marks you have
made for the top of the cabinet doors are aligned
with the top of the door.

Then using a drill start the holes for brackets. DO
NOT drill completely through the door.

Remove the template from the door and mount
door brackets. See Pictogram 4.

Pictogram 5 shows how to install the extension piece
for the stainless steel models if this should prove
necessary.

Place door on dishwasher, sliding the lower brackets
into place first. Use screws at the side of door to position
and secure the door in place. See pictogram 6.

Accessory Panel Installation All DW24
Models except DW246US
If you have an DW24 non- integrated model and have
ordered an accessory panel kit it must be installed prior
to sliding the dishwasher into place. Dimensions of panel
size that may be used is shown in Figure 19.
Thermador offers both a black (Model DWF24UB and
white (DWF24UW) frame kit to complement your
dishwasher finish when a custom wood panel insert is
desired. Each kit includes a set of heavy-duty door
springs, which should be used for custom wood panels
that weigh between 7 - 11 pounds. The frame supplied
with each kit will support a 1/4" a thick wood panel
only, but you can add a secondary raised panel onto this
base structure if desired. Be sure to also use the supplied
heavy-duty door springs, when a secondary raised panel
is applied to the 1/4" base.
